Shalom, Y'allThe Columbus Jewish Historical Society will show a movie at Creekside at the Village.  The title of the movie is Shalom, Y'all, it will be shown at 2:00 PM Tuesday Feb 13th in the Fitness Room.  The public is invited and there is no charge.

Wednesday December 11, 2002, 7pm:
Presenters Dave Graham and Irv Lichtenstein. Graham, enthusiastic WWII
researcher will conduct a live oral history interview of WWII veteran

Wednesday November 20, 2002, 7pm,
Presenters Sam Nahem of ScreenPlay and Murray Ebner, Holocaust survivor. They will discuss the documentary "A Survivor's Journey," which chronicles Ebner's return to Poland in 2001 with his family to revisit his childhood home.  Ben Mandelkorn Board Room of the  Esther C. Melton Community Services Building, 1175 College Ave. Free and open to the public.
Sunday May 19, 2002, bus trip to Zanesville to meet with members of Beth Abraham to learn about the history of the Zanesville Jewish community. Also part of the day were visits to sites of Jewish interest, including the Jewish cemetery.
Sunday March 3, 2002, "The New Ellis Island Records and Ancestry Plus."  This was a joint program with the Bexley Public Library and was held at the Library.

CJHS will be celebrates its 20th year at its Annual Meeting, Thursday, June 28, 2001, 7:00 p.m., at Wexner Heritage House. The program will be "The Lost Wooden Synagogues of Eastern Europe" that includes a film narrated by Theodore Bikel and an original musical score. The evening includes a message from B. Lee Skilken, president, election of officers and Board of Trustees for 2001-2002, and presentation of awards. This special Annual Meeting is free and open to the public.
