The Columbus Jewish Historical Society

List of Archival Holdings

BACKGROUND:  Central to the mission of the Columbus Jewish Historical Society is its ongoing effort to document the history of the Jewish communities of Columbus and central Ohio. The CJHS archive serves as the repository for any and all materials collected by the society pertaining to local Jewish history. Once accessioned into the collection, items in the CJHS archive are processed and carefully stored so that future generations might better understand the Columbus and central Ohio Jewish communities of today and yesterday. Whether you have or haven’t yet donated personal, family, or community memorabilia to the society, we encourage you to think of us in the future. Help us to create a rich and vibrant legacy for our community!

The following is a list of organizations, institutions, periodicals, and personal and family files contained in our collection. To access the series and container list (which display a detailed listing of the items under each heading) simply click on the highlighted name.
