OHIO JEWISH CHRONICLE ARCHIVES
The
Ohio Jewish Chronicle is a weekly newspaper founded in 1922 that is directed to the Jewish communities of Central Ohio. The newspaper was the successor to an earlier publication,
The Columbus Jewish Chronicle, which appeared in 1918 and 1919.
Thanks to a grant from the Columbus Jewish Foundation, the Columbus Jewish Historical Society has arranged for an online searchable archive of the two newspapers through 1994. The searchable archive is maintained by the Ohio Historical Society through their Ohio Memory project.
The searchable archive is not yet in its final form, but a preliminary form may be searched through the link below. Please note that the link will take you to another website, and that complete directions on using the searchable archive have not yet been written.
